This leadership position is made for a growth-driven talent ready to lead and advance the digital revenue growth and performance marketing effectiveness for Clarus Adventure’s Rhino-Rack, Maxtrax and Tred brands across the Americas.
As the Digital & E-Commerce Marketplace Manager, you will be the Americas leader for all commerce driving initiatives while propelling revenue growth with/for our trade partners as well as on the company’s own webstores and in marketplace environments. You will lead the Digital and CRM strategy for the Americas to deliver the best online visibility and performance to our 3 adventure brands: Rhino Rack, Maxtrax and TRED.
You will take full ownership of the E-Commerce channel, from top-level strategy & analysis to execution. While working collaboratively with and sharing best practices with our separate yet connected, Australia based team, you will be accountable for managing all aspects of our online Americas storefronts, managing relationships with agencies and with third party vendors, moving the needle on conversion rate and site experience, setting marketing automations and working closely with the campaign team to ensure all tactics and creative aligns with the business objectives.
In addition to delivering DTC performance on company owned sites, the Digital & E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will be responsible for leading company strategy and execution on any Marketplace sites such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com and others. Finally, the EMM will be responsible for developing strategies and executing growth initiatives with CA’s rapidly growing affiliate marketing partners.
Leading this recently created department is a new position at Clarus Adventure Americas. The role will have budget, revenue and EBITDA responsibility, and the department leader will report directly to the GM of Clarus Adventure Americas.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities are:
· Lead from strategy to execution for our adventure brands, across the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico, Central and South America).
· Develop and execute a comprehensive Digital, E-commerce and CRM strategy to maximise website performances.
· Manage online traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and A/B testing, ensuring data-driven strategies to achieve KPIs.
· Oversee digital performance marketing key levers (SEO, SEM, Display, email marketing, and social media) to drive sales and growth.
· Define and implement the global CRM strategy.
· Work closely with the Australia based E-Commerce team to lead the North America E-Commerce transformation and focus on digital growth.
· Collaborate with the regional digital agency to optimize user experience, flow and conversion path.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, and Logistics) to successfully launch projects.
· Closely collaborate with the sales team to get a constant pulse on retail performances.
· Support our retailers in maximising and optimising their digital ecosystem, ensuring they act as an extension of the brands and drive sales (trade marketing).
· Monitor and report on key performance metrics, and constantly recommend on optimisations.
· Analyse customer journey and develop success metrics for customer care.
· Manage the rollout of new global developments and support / conduct user experience testing.
· Leverage CA’s Marketplace effectiveness and grow by developing and deploying strategy, policies, budgets, campaigns/onsite marketing, product page SEO and more to optimize CA’s results on the ever changing, Marketplace webstores.
· Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to optimize consumer shopping experience and identify growth opportunities.
Key skills and requirements:
· 5-8 years experience in a similar role, with strong E-Commerce retail-focused and performance marketing background.
· Outdoor, bicycle, snow sport, automotive and or other related industry experiences, as well a as premium consumer branded products background is highly regarded
· Experience in leading or participating on a Marketplace team with an understanding of how do drive growth and brand presence in 3rd party marketplaces like Amazon.
· Bachelor’s degree or MBA in marketing, business management, E-Commerce, digital marketing, E-Commerce analytics or related fields.
· Solid experience in creating and implementing E-commerce strategies and processes working in a global environment.
· Experience with Marketing automation and CRM: from strategy to workflow execution.
· Solid analytical capabilities, performance and growth-driven mindset.
· Passionate and curious about technologies, innovation as a key driver.
· Strong leadership skills to drive collaboration, influence and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
· Exceptional project management abilities with proven ability to work under tight deadlines.

· Experience with SEM Tools, including but not limited to Moz, Optmyzer, Ahrefs, Alexa, etc.?
· Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools, and Data Studio Dashboard.?
· Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.?
· Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Google Big Query are a plus.?
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.?
