Position Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Project Engineer with specialized expertise in conveyor and material handling systems. The ideal candidate will take on a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative and efficient material handling solutions for our manufacturing and distribution operations. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical design principles, industry practices, and emerging technologies. Experience in new product development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Development : Lead the design and development of conveyor and material handling systems, including layout planning, component selection, and system integration.
- New Product Development : Play a crucial role in new product development, from concept to production, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
- Engineering Drawings & CAD Modeling : Produce detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- System Analysis : Conduct engineering calculations to ensure system safety, performance, and integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams to deliver comprehensive turnkey solutions.
- Prototype Testing & Validation : Oversee the development, testing, and validation of prototypes for new systems and components.
- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure systems meet all relevant industry safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Technical Support : Provide technical assistance during system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.
- Project Management : Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation from concept through to successful project completion.
- Industry Awareness : Stay updated on industry trends, technological advances, and best practices in conveyor and material handling design.
