What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Tailgate Engineer Intern position at Rhino Tool House?
Job Description:
The role would be to run our Technology Tailgates. They would be responsible for:
- Driving a trailer loaded with our products to customer locations each week.
- Unloading and loading the demo benches.
- Working with the local sales engineer to arrange times, locations, set up and break down times.
- Setting up and grilling food.
- Creating a schedule for the events by working with the Regional Manager (Scott Janssen).
- Getting contacts from each event and sending a follow-up Thank You email.
- Working with our suppliers to ensure they are confirmed for the event.
- As the summer goes along, the intern could run a demo bench and present the product to customers.
Technology includes:
- Augmented Reality
- Advanced torque tool solutions
- Torque auditing solutions
- Material handling products – hoists, intelligent lift assists, carts, conveyors
- Workplace organization products – Flow racks, work benches
- And more
Customers we will visit include: Mercury Marine, Caterpillar, Rivian, John Deere, Crown, Generac, Husco, Komatsu, Ariens, Oshkosh Truck, Pierce, Doosan, CNH, BRP, and many more
