We are seeking a Safety Manager with the eagerness to grow and accept new challenges to oversee our construction projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction safety, with knowledge in OSHA regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment while effectively managing resources and timelines on-site. This is a management level position that requires 40-50 hours of work a week Monday-Friday with the ability to be flexible when needed.
*Responsibilities*
- Travel to multiple job sites across the New England states.
- Oversee operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards and EHS protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices and ensure quality control measures are being followed.
- Provide training and guidance to workers based on OSHA, company and client specific safety procedures.
- Prepare reports on site activities, incidents, and compliance issues for upper management review.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, EHS practices, and compliance management is required.
- Familiarity with construction processes with an emphasis on safety and quality assurance is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
