Job Description-
The EHR Technical Implementation Deputy will support the EHRM Deployment Coordination team as well as the Director of Deployment Readiness. Duties include:
- Managing a small sub-team in providing coordination support to ensure the success of EHRM site implementations.
- Organizing team resources and setting up structure(s) to manage multiple concurrent site implementations.
- Leading the sub-team in the planning and delivery of various site implementation related processes, deliverables, meetings, and briefings.
- Coordinating with government and contractor leadership to assist in managing the EHRM Implementation Integrated Project Team (IPT) including associated processes, activities, and meetings.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on program deliverables (those developed by Booz Allen as well as the EHR integration vendor).
- Providing on-site support during Go Live and other implementation events to support the Director of Deployment Readiness and ensure successful execution by government and technical vendor resources.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10 years of professional work experience
- Experience managing Information Technology related projects
- Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
- Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
- Able to identify and mitigate risks.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA
- Experience implementing electronic health records
