We are seeking a Director of Design to lead and cultivate our design initiatives, setting the stage for industry-leading experiences across our platform. As the Director of Design, you will be a strategic design leader, orchestrating a cohesive design vision that aligns with company objectives, influences business goals, and enhances user outcomes. You will report directly to the product lead and be a crucial voice at the table, attracting top design talent and ensuring Rho remains at the forefront of fintech innovation.Responsibilities Spearhead the strategic design leadership at Rho, overseeing the Rho design team.Setting the design vision across the organization, ensuring consistency and excellence in visual design, UX / UI, and interaction design.Foster an environment of creative problem-solving, empowering designers to innovate while adhering to core design principles and values.Develop and execute a long-term design strategy that aligns with company goals, guiding teams toward achieving cohesive and impactful user experiences.Act as a champion for design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed design thinking in all aspects of our product development process.Mentor and manage design leaders, cultivating a high-performing team that is aligned with Rho’s business and product strategies.Communicate design strategies and insights clearly, maintaining transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.Qualifications 8 years of experience in design leadership with a proven track record in fintech or related industries.Demonstrated expertise in visual design, UX / UI, and interaction design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.Strong leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and managing product design teams and leaders.Visionary thinker with a successful history of establishing and executing design strategies that drive business results.Passion for creating meaningful user experiences and a relentless pursuit of design excellence.Compensation and Benefits Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs.
