Vice President, Sales

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President/General Manager and as a key member of our leadership team you will develop our go to market strategy and execution to accelerate and sustain our high rate of growth. The ideal candidate will a proven track record of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for an early-stage high-growth SaaS business selling to both enterprise and mid-market customers and building a “hunter” based sales team. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies and plans.
- Recruit, lead, coach and motivate a highly effective team of account executives.
- Develop and execute sales plans for new and existing customers to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota.
- Partner with Marketing Director to drive cost effective SQLs into the pipeline and provide sales enablement.
- Build a data-driven, performance culture in Sales.
- Coach sales professionals to penetrate accounts, build relationships with decision makers and overcome selling obstacles.
- Build and maintain relationships with enterprises level customers, understanding the organization’s strategic initiatives.
- Negotiate and resolve contract issues.
- Lead implementation and evolution of pipeline management and sales automation tools to ensure timely sales engagement.
- Implement robust sales methodology and processes leveraging a -based sales approach to manage sales cycles.
- Accurately forecast bookings.
- Mange sales pipeline and activity reporting.
- Leadership in driving long term strategic planning for market, compensation, territory planning, account planning
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of building and leading teams which meet or exceed targets.
- Direct experience in GRC or Insurtech markets selling to insurance carriers, MGAs and agencies is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience growing ARR to $30 million or beyond.
- Enterprise sales experience generating new sales and cultivating existing customer accounts.
- Knowledge and experience in managing a complex SaaS sales process.
- Appreciation for and experience with defining the buyer journey.
