What are the responsibilities and job description for the One To One position at Rhode Island Autism Project?
Summary:
Support Social Skills Groups for children and teens with autism. Groups are formed based upon age and abilities of participants.
Responsibilities:
Greet children and parents upon arrival at their group take attendance for assigned groups.
Assist Group Facilitator(s) in setting up activities and materials.
Assist Group Facilitator(s) in conducting Social Skills Group activities.
Complete clean-up following groups.
Implement individualized treatment plans.
Rate Treatment Support Assessments weekly.
Attend trianings and staff meetings associated with Social Skills Groups.
Oversee dismissal of participants to parents caregivers and/or others on their Authorized to Pick Up List.
Other information:REQUIREMENTS:
Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends when groups are running.
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and some experience supporting individuals with autism.
Willingness to work as a team member in a rapidly expanding NON-PROFIT agency.
