Position Overview
Rhode Island College’s administrative system is running on Oracle / Peoplesoft Enterprise system, which has Interactive Hub, Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Financial Management. This position will be responsible to support PeopleSoft Campus Solutions’ Financial Aid module and Student Financials module; Design programs and / or reports as needed to meet user needs and business requirements.; Code, test and implement programs or applications using appropriate programming tools / language such as SQR and PeopleSoft Query, and utilizing appropriate database engines (Microsoft SQL); Maintain current documentation on all programs, systems and procedures; Support PeopleSoft functional users across the Financial Aid and Student Financials / Bursar offices.
Primary Purpose
Design, develop, and maintain applications in support of College administrative and academic objectives. Develop specifications for other programmer / analysts and work from specifications supplied by others. May have project and related supervisory responsibilities.
