Position: Account Executive

Reports to: Sr. Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service
Overview:
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue for RIFC Stadium at Tidewater Landing. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and strategic decision-making to identify and secure new business opportunities. The Account Executive will also contribute to the long-term planning and implementation of sales initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
Job Duties
· Execute sales calls and presentations promoting the purchase of New Stadium ticket products to meet sales objectives set by leadership.
· Responsible for conducting the minimum KPI expectations for outside meetings per week (provided by leadership), with corporate prospects to build relationships and lead to sales.
· Proactively solicit and follow up on personal sales leads under the guidelines established by supervisors by utilizing CRM. Regularly prospect to keep the pipeline filled with contacts who have some likelihood to purchase products. Pipelines should have enough contacts to meet minimum KPI expectations of weekly calls, emails, and meetings.
· Participate in regular/scheduled meetings with the Dir./SVP to establish the best processes and strategies for driving new business and retaining existing clients.
· Work additional events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required and assigned by management. These events are hosted with the aim of prospecting or entertaining prospective clients.
· Work closely with other members of the ticket sales and service department to ensure inventory integrity by submitting every deal sheet through CRM once verbally agreed to by client, efficient levels of customer service and timely responsiveness to inbound leads.
· Work all home games, some stadium events such as international games, concerts and other special events held at RIFC Stadium. This role will be working nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the organization.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with senior leadership to achieve revenue goals for ticket and premium sales.
· Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to recommend and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
· Independently negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients within guidelines set by the organization, ensuring profitability and long-term relationships.
· Provide mentorship or guidance to junior sales staff or interns to promote team success and professional development.
· Create and present comprehensive sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership, leveraging CRM data and analytics to inform decision-making.
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
· A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred).
· A minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience.
· Proven track record in developing long-lasting business relationships with clients.
· A self-starter with a competitive drive and initiative.
· Polished presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations quickly and confidently.
· Assertive, persistent, and results oriented.
· Must be able to support team environment and adhere to department guidelines.
· Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn required business systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Sales experience preferred; sports sales experience a plus.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
· Experience and training in Seat Geek Microsoft CRM, or other Customer Relations Management systems.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role may include oversight of temporary sales staff or interns, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and adherence to sales protocols.
