The Organization
At Tidewater Stadium, we are committed to providing a top-tier matchday experience and a premier venue for sports and entertainment. The Information Technology Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Tidewater Stadium operates efficiently and remains a state-of-the-art facility.
Position Summary
Manages the stadium’s audio levels, ensuring clear and balanced sound for music, PA announcements, and in-game effects. Troubleshoots microphone and speaker issues, cues music at appropriate times, and adjusts levels based on crowd noise and event needs. Works closely with the PA Announcer and Producer to maintain audio quality.
Essential Functions
- Manage the main audio board (Yamaha) and audio software Computer
- Communicate with technical director
- Communicate with in-stadium graphics operator
- Ensure event audio needs are implemented and executed in accordance with the game script.
- Ability to plan and execute sound checks, equipment placement, volume and quality of sound.
- Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and experience with audio set-ups, execution and strikes.
- Proficient using the following audio console: Yamaha QL1
- Familiar with Dante audio network.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required.
- Must be a collaborative team player who works well with others in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Work Schedule
This position will require evening, weekend, and holiday hours based on the needs of the stadium.
