- Physician Assistant
- to join us at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. Working as an integral member of the structural heart team, you will be responsible for providing post-procedure care to patients receiving TAVR, LAAO and M-TEER implants within an ambulatory setting.
- Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and manage structural heart patients in the outpatient setting
- Identify and manage post-procedure complications and communicate findings to attending care team
- Provide patient and family education on procedure follow-up and care expectations
- Serve as a liaison between the hospital Structural Heart Program and other areas of the Cardiovascular Institute
- Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice RN in the state of Rhode Island
- Current prescriptive privileges and DEA licenses
- 1 years of experience as an APP, NP or PA in cardiology
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Working at Brown University Health
