POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides exceptional customer service to all guests who enter the

restaurant. Handles the entire sequence of service from order taking to checkout.

Communicates effectively with other team members both front and back of the house.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet all patrons when they walk through the front door.

Sit patrons immediately when seating becomes available.

Once patrons are seated, introduce Johnny Rockets promotions.

Take drink orders deliver utensils and sauces in a timely manner.

Deliver food and continue to follow up with the patron to ensure a positive dining experience

and satisfaction.

Handle customer concerns to the best possible satisfaction of the customer. If unable to

satisfy, involve the on duty supervisor. Each customer transaction must be handled in a

way that positively spreads Johnny Rockets reputation.

Deliver ticket to the table prior to the customer departing.

Perform side work and end of night closing tasks as defined by the on-duty supervisor and

in accordance with your operations procedural manual.

Participate in dance routines during shift.

Responsible for check out process at end of shift and for proper declaration of tips.

Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude while toward patrons and co-workers. This is a

service position meaning that you always service either an internal or external customer.

Working safely by using good judgment and following all company and OSHA regulations is

required.

Show up every day, on time for your scheduled shifts.

For California employees only – maintain a valid Food Handler Card.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related

experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Servers may be serving tables located outside in our patio area, therefore they may be

occasionally exposed to inclement weather. However, while performing the duties of this job, the

employee is not exposed to extreme environmental conditions. On occasion the employee will

be exposed to extreme cold when entering the freezer area to retrieve items.
