What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Rhodehouse Construction Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, cranes, water trucks, front loader trucks, skid steers and excavators
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols company policies and guidelines while operating equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to project specifications and requirements.
Requirements:
-CDL is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, and skid steers testing maybe required
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Extended hours
- Weekends as needed
