The firm was founded to leverage their team’s extensive network, experience and source and acquire off-market investment opportunities that have provided our investors with incomparable returns and a track record that has resulted in our professional’s having transacted over $9.5bn in total deal volume, made up by more than 700 transactions. Specifically, from a development perspective, they are currently building over 3mm SF of industrial distribution product, with several million more SF in the immediate pipeline. Current assets under management are north of $500mm and growing rapidly. Our client's primary investment targets are in the land, industrial, and living asset classes that can be found across the Southwest and Southeastern parts of the United States.
We are searching for an Acquisition/Development Associate (or Senior Associate) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in analyzing potential acquisition and development opportunities while supporting the growth of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, with a strong background in the development & project management process. While industrial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct thorough analysis and due diligence for potential acquisition/development opportunities.
• Coordinate preliminary land planning and manage the entitlement process (Planning and zoning, City Council, Staff approvals).
• Assisting the project team with overall design, budget, and schedule for new developments.
• Develop detailed financial budgets and construction budgets to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
• Assisting with the construction loan draw / monthly requisition process.
• Assist in evaluating new acquisition/development targets.
• Review and manage due diligence reports and deal data rooms.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports.
• Attend industry related events.
• Perform other related duties and assignments, as delegated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate acquisition, development, or finance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision.
• Demonstrated interest in real estate investment and development.
• Experience in industrial real estate acquisition and development is a plus.
• Familiarity with market research and investment analysis tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
