Job Summary:
The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned electrical projects from the estimation process through completion. This includes project estimating, scope development, planning, execution, and close-out. The ideal candidate will be skilled at gathering project requirements, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of electrical projects, including new builds, renovations, and service upgrades.
- Gather and analyze information from site visits, blueprints, and client meetings to accurately scope projects.
- Prepare detailed and competitive project estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Develop project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Oversee procurement and logistics for project materials and equipment.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including project logs, reports, and change orders.
- Enforce company and OSHA safety standards at all job sites.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical project management, including estimating.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Preferred to have experience with estimating software and project management tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Any OSHA Certificates Preferred.
