What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician for Pools and Spas position at Rhodes Pools and Patios?
Rhodes Pools and Patios is a small, family owned and operated, business in Altoona, PA. We specialize in Above Ground, Inground, Installs, Liner Replacements, Sales, Services, Spas, and Water Hauling.
We are currently seeking a professional and skilled General Service Tech to join our team. The individual we are seeking will manage a variety of tasks in order to complete projects to our rapidly growing company's specifications. Being familiar with spas and swimming pools is a must. Our business is rapidly growing, so the right candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to follow directions.
- Be able to lift heavy items.
- Diagnose equipment (Filters, heaters, pumps).
- Open and close swimming pools (Will train).
- Service electric, natural gas, and propane swimming pool heaters.
- Service spas.
- Plumb/Replumb swimming pool equipment.
- Keep work vehicles clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
