On-Call Bartender/Server
Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly, service-oriented individuals for on-call Bartender and Server positions. These roles support front-of-house operations during events, peak hours, or as needed. Ideal candidates are adaptable, professional, and thrive in fast-paced environments. There is potential for future growth and the possibility of being assigned to beverage cart duties on an as-needed basis.
Pay: $12/hour tips
Job Type: On-Call (with potential for part-time/full-time in the future)
Shifts: Morning, day, or evening (based on event or business needs)
Location: Las Vegas, NV 89148 (on-site only)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Bartenders may be required to take tables and serve as a floor server when needed
- Take food and drink orders, deliver them promptly, and provide recommendations based on guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and server stations
- Wash glassware, utensils, and restock bar with alcohol, beverages, garnishes, snacks, condiments, and other supplies
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, delivering excellent hospitality to guests
- Handle cash and follow proper cash handling procedures
- May be assigned to beverage cart service on-call, including setup, service, and restocking of the cart fridge and supplies
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications:
- Bartending knowledge and experience required
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous serving experience in a fine dining or high-volume setting preferred
- Beverage cart experience is highly preferred
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus but not required
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Southern Nevada Health Department Food Handler’s Card (required)
- Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card (required)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- English proficiency required
