House Manager for Assisted Living Facility

Job Summary
The House Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential care facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents. This position requires a compassionate leader who is adept at managing staff, coordinating care services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to residents, fostering a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to long-term care, including medication administration and resident rights.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the facility.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately for optimal resident care.
• Provide oversight for dementia care programs and memory care services, tailoring approaches to meet individual resident needs.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, coordinating with healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in social work and assisted living practices.
• Maintain open communication with residents and their families, addressing concerns and promoting a supportive community atmosphere.

Requirements

• Proven experience in long-term care settings, with a focus on operations management.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and resident rights.
• Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial acumen to manage facility resources effectively.
• Experience in dementia care or memory care is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
