Location
This position will be fully remote.
Employment Type
This is a contractor position, with the hours of availability 9am-3:30pm ET Monday through Friday. There is a mandatory team huddle Monday through Friday at 10am ET. We do collaborate often so ET is highly preferable.
Compensation
$60-70/hour
POSITION OBJECTIVES
- Retain long-term, quality clients with visual materials that meet or exceed clients’ expectations and the company’s financial standards
- Promote an effective, smooth-running creative orchestration and cultivating environment
- Build a strong relationship with Chief Creative Officer, clients, and vendors
- Organize, lead, and review the work of the creative team in the production of all branding, print, digital, event and experience, and informative solutions
POSITION AND TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic and managerial
- Participate in ongoing documentation, evaluation, and innovation of company processes/strategies
- Develop and execute Employee Development Meetings and Employee Performance Reviews
Become a company and industry expert
- Exemplify senior-level knowledge of ALL client brands, project scopes, and offered design mediums
- Stay abreast of new methods and tools in order to lead continuing education initiative standards
Oversee all creative, designers, and contractors
- Exemplify confidence and leadership to maintain positive working environment
- Educate, train, and support teammates on “how we do it here"
- Review and direct designs to ensure they meet the company quality standards, are visually consistent, and solve the client’s visual problem
- Maintain company turnaround times, deadlines, review process, and creative budgets
REQUIRED TACTICAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in design and creative project management
- Ability to work and communicate in a highly collaborative, inclusive team environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, & Microsoft Office
- Experience with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, branding, print, digital, event and experience, and informative solutions
- Openness to learning, adapting, and growing alongside our creative team
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
