We are presently seeking a Corporate Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for preparing and provide management with accurate financial information.
As a successful Corporate Accounting Assistant, you will:
- Prepare, maintain and present reconciliations of corporate reimbursements and vendor allocations.
- Maintain general ledgers including reconciliations of key accounts.
- Process journal entries such as accruals and reclasses to ensure books and records are complete and accurate.
- Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable postings to ensure items have been posted to proper entities, proper general ledger codes, and with proper descriptions and amounts.
- Prepare and track management fee calculations.
- Perform special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience or satisfactory combination of work experience and education.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well in a group.
