We are presently seeking an individual who will perform risk management functions, focusing on claims handling and oversight.
As a successful Risk Manager, you will :
- Review all assigned incoming Incident Reports, obtain clarification and decide how to proceed (i.e. make a claim, subrogate, or other).
- Maintain Incident Report files; ensure all proper documents are uploaded to the IDB and saved to M Drive as appropriate.
- Notify President, Executives, PR Firm and HR immediately of concerning incidents; i.e. media involvement, fires, loss of life, etc.
- Work with adjusters on all assigned open claims providing requested documentation, etc.
- Coordinate receipt of insurance funds, includes working with lenders and vendors, as needed.
- Complete Interrogatories and Requests for Documents related to lawsuits handled by our insurance carrier and review with Senior Risk Manager
- Subrogate against third parties to recover funds for damages incurred.
- Complete quarterly Loss Run Reporting for Joint Venture Portfolios, as assigned
- Complete weekly Incident Reporting to Executives and Management, as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned.
