Responsibilities
The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in improving the position of our agents in the market. Reports directly to the Regional Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of agents to increase transactions, optimize the Ria image and presence in core markets, and assist them with our money remittance platform.
- Install and remove equipment at new and existing agent locations.
- Train and support new and existing agents and assist them with troubleshooting.
- Recruit, sign up and onboard new and existing agents.
- Promote all products the company offers and negotiate deals to increment wires production in assigned territory.
- Install advertising and branding materials (posters, signs, etc.) tailored to the agent’s core markets.
- Capture competitive information and ensure that agent maintain competitive exchange rates and customer fees.
- Schedule and coordinate visits to new and existing agents to conduct a business review.
- Provide prompt solutions by maintaining strong partnership with back office team, sales team and corporate headquarters.
- Conduct promotions, distribute marketing materials and giveaways at events and agent locations
- Coordinate and support sales team for activations and re-activations.
- Develop thorough knowledge of services, processes and applications.
- Complete all reports, records or forms accurately and in a timely manner.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1-2 year of experience in sales support or field support preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory daily, have a valid driver license, reliable transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the company and state law.
- Must possess basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers and other departments.
- The key characteristics this individual must possess are strong interpersonal skills, willingness to work independently, detail oriented and always be team focused.

The annual salary is for this position is $40,000-$50,000. The actual starting salary may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
