Reporting to Regional Manager, Clinical Operations
Employment Type: Part time or Full time - 32 to 40 hours/week
Primary Responsibilities:
In a typical day you may...
- Support the physician team during procedures, administration of medications, and monitoring patients throughout exams and procedures
- Collaborate with referring providers and patients to provide appropriate care for patients participating in IV sedation for their imaging needs
- Discuss medication reactions and plan of care for patients needing imaging
- Assess and document patient current health status and medical history; including response to care provided, needs, problems, and progress
- Inform the technologist, radiologist, and any other relevant members of the healthcare team of any patient needs
- Assist with specialized exams, including consent and patient education related to these exams
- Provide educational efforts across Invision Sally Jobe, regarding patient safety and care, to employed technologists and support staff
- Provide education and training related to initiation and maintenance of IV care
- Support nurse navigation team
- Provide follow up care for patients post contrast reaction
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and follow-up calls for patients post biopsy
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
- Previous experience as a RN required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Conscious sedation experience strongly preferred
- Staff education management preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Compensation is between $42.00 and $51.00 hourly
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Medical Imaging of Colorado’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis and will remain open until filled.
