Locksmith Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality locksmith services, including installation, repair, and maintenance of locks and security systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various locking mechanisms and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Locksmith will work in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain a variety of locks, keys, and security systems.
• Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
• Use tools such as an Ohmmeter to test electrical components in electronic locking systems.
• Provide expert advice on security solutions tailored to clients' needs.
• Perform routine inspections of locks and security systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Document all service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Locksmith or in a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of locks, keys, and security systems is essential.
• Proficiency in using locksmithing tools, including an Ohmmeter for testing purposes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse environments.
