QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of:•Knowledge of research based, effective instructional strategies for diverse learners •Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process•Learning Centers•Universal Design for Learning•Specialized Academic InstructionAbility to:•Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, teachers, parents, colleagues, and community leaders. •Create a Learning Center environment that is structured, positive and organized•Communicate effectively with students and parents around goals and progress•Mentor and support students and hold them to high academic and socio-behavioral standards. •Be a strong team member who is self-reflective, implements feedback, and consistently seeks to improve his/her practice.Experience and Education: •Possession of a valid California Education Specialist Mild/Moderate credential.•Possession of valid Autism Authorization.•Possession of a valid California EL authorization or equivalent.

Comments and Other Information

SALARY AND TERMS The salary for the position is based on the certificated teacher's salary schedule ($66,984 to $132,726) for 184 days of service. Up to 14 years of previous experience within the last 15 years are given for placement on the salary schedule. BENEFITS Fully paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Basic Life Insurance, above and beyond the salary for the employee and eligible dependents. As of January 1, 2025: In accordance with Education Code section 44939.5, you are required by law to provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school and/or state special school that you have previously been employed no matter the length of service. Please include any part-time and/or substitution work in addition to any full-time employment positions. Failure to disclose any school district, county office of education, charter school and/or state special school that you have previously been employed may be deemed dishonestly in the hiring process and/or dishonesty following termination.
