Ricardo Beverly Hills is seeking an effective Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager to direct receiving, quality control, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an assistant warehouse manager having dealt with picking and shipping orders to large retailers in strict compliance with each retailer’s routing guide.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure all shipments are shipped accurately and on time.
· Teach, coach and train a team of employees with a focus on efficient operations and positive work environment.
· Manages the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies. Ensure proper levels of supplies are always on-hand.
· Reviews order processing ensuring the specific requirements of each order are scheduled and communicated to the warehouse team. This includes price ticketing to meet special labeling or other specific requirements to meet our customers’ needs.
· Responsible for complete routing guide compliance. Must understand all routing guides and have process to ensure compliance.
· Assist in the scheduling of all incoming and outgoing loads. Ensuring inventory is stored and maintained in the warehouse in an organized and logical way to facilitate efficient order picking in a manual tracking environment. Assist in the scheduling of routing customer orders.
· Manage inventory control process
· Oversees the receiving process including verifying quantities, inspections upon receipt and determining warehouse location for the inventory.
· Responsible for equipment maintenance and warehouse safety.
· Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Previous experience supervising or managing warehouse operations similar in size and scope to us.
· Previous experience with routing guide compliance.
· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
· Knowledge of the safety procedures for handling and receiving goods.
· Inventory control/Cycle count experience
· Quality assurance
· Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to give clear and precise directions to large and small groups. Accurate and clear communication with all departments throughout the company.
· Strong team leader with ability to train and mentor.
· Experience driving a yard truck and relocating trailers. Must also be qualified to drive a forklift. Commercial driver’s license a plus.
· Must be able to lift and move heavy loads.
