What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailer - Light and Medium Duty position at Ricart Automotive?

What We Need From You- Job Duties and Requirements:
- Vacuums, shampoos, and applies fabric/leather/carpeting conditioners as needed
- Waxes, polishes, buffs, and applies exterior paint sealant as needed
- Air dries around moldings and door handles to prevent water runoff and spotting
- Applies deodorizing treatments as required
- Accurately and truthfully records/documents all activities as required
- Maintains a clean work area and adequately manages clean-up chemicals/supplies by keeping them orderly and labeled.
- Washes and folds work towels
- Removes trash from the work area daily
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Washes/cleans all vehicles thoroughly, including under-hood components, trunks, rear compartments, inside gas doors, fender wells, truck beds, tires, wheels, windows, dashes, interior panels, headliners, door jambs and sill plates, cup holders, and under seats.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required
- High school education or equivalent
- Effective organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to demonstrate ethical behavior
- Prior detailing experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
- Must be able to stand for long periods
