What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Sales position at Ricart Automotive?

What We Need From You- Job Duties and Requirements:
- Provide excellent customer service by listening and asking questions to get the correct part in a timely fashion for the customer
- Greet all customers promptly and in a professional and timely manner
- Recommend related parts that are needed to complete a service job
- Follow-up with the customer during the process to let them know when the specific part for their repair job will be in
- Assist wherever necessary with delivery drivers with their orders and routes
- Maintain a proper filing system for all repair orders, special orders, backorders, wholesale estimates, etc.
- Any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
- 2-3 years in automotive parts environment preferred, but not required
- High school education or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work cross-functionally with other departments and maintain a calm, helpful demeanor
- Must be able to work nights and Saturdays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds
