Business Title:
- Head of Accounting and Finance
Job Purpose:
- To lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations for RICCA CHEMICAL COMPANY LLC, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and strategic financial planning to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, providing insights into the company's financial performance and future outlook.
- Oversee treasury management activities, including cash management, investments, and debt financing.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes, recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address financial inquiries.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance, including cost reduction initiatives and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in managing a team of accounting and finance professionals.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
- Experience with financial systems and software, including ERP systems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical industry environment preferred.

Salary : $145,000
