- Responsible for assigned duties during the month-end close process, including journal entries and accountant reconciliations
- Analyze financial statements month over month and compared to budget
- Maintain and update general ledger
- Process and reconcile accounts and receivable
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist with tax filings and audits
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification is a plus
