Position Overview
The Marketing Support Specialist provides essential support to our national marketing initiatives by ensuring that every campaign, project, and marketing effort is carried out smoothly and efficiently. The role provides assistance to the marketing and sales teams, focusing on researching markets and channels to develop lists of target companies, key contacts, municipalities and HOAs. Responsibilities will also involve research to determine the optimal trade show and event engagement, as well as research to profile competitive markets and products.
This role is responsible for managing the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system. Manage leads coming available through digital advertising and the website. Assure accurate data within the system to apply to the pipeline model for forecasting efforts. Be responsible for analyzing customer data to identify trends and insights, help develop strategies to improve customer engagement. Implement those strategies within the CRM platform to optimize sales, marketing, and customer service efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.
The ideal candidate has an ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development. The specialist should be adept at working independently on research, then consulting with stake-holders and collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure that powerfully informative insights are gathered and utilized.
Position Logistics:
Reports to the Director of Marketing
Located on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Assist marketing director in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new-product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling, and sales enablement
- Maintain and update customer databases, track campaign performance, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences, analyze competitor activities, and identify emerging trends.
- Collaborate closely with other marketing team members, as well as sales and other departments, to achieve shared goals.
- Lead Management β Implementing the lead generation and qualification process within the CRM, ensuring timely follow-up and effective lead nurturing
- Assist in implementing and refining sales processes within the CRM to streamline lead qualification, opportunity management, and deal closure
- Analyzing sales data within the CRM to identify trends, customer behavior patterns, and areas for improvement, reports and dashboards to track CRM performance metrics
- Assist in developing and implementing customer engagement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling
- Design targeted marketing campaigns based on customer segmentation
- Create and distribute reports on critical metrics for lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideal candidate will have a BA degree in Marketing or similar education/experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions
- Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience with market research, surveys, and data analytics
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
- Communication Skills: excellent written, verbal, and presentation
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of sales, marketing, business development, and customer service
- Understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs
