Position Responsibilities:
- Research, identify and qualify new leads and opportunities to build sales pipeline
- Communication with existing customers, make outbound contact with potential customers, follow up on leads, and send additional information
- Close sales and achieve sales targets
- Create and maintain customer database of current and potential customers
- Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored hardscape paver solutions that align with their vision and requirements
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the unique features, benefits, and value of our cobblestone products
- Coordinate activities with internal personnel
- Keep up with product and service information and updates
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic sales approaches and product offerings
- Provide exceptional after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams, providing insights from customer feedback and market trends to influence future product offerings and marketing strategies
- Prepare sales proposals and negotiate prices
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideal candidate will have a BA in Business Administration or similar education/experience
- Communication Skills: excellent written, verbal and presentation
- Experience in market research and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRMs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
- Understanding of sales, marketing, business development, and customer service
- Understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions
- Experience in market and pipeline development
Position Logistics:
- Reports directly to the VP of Commercialization
- Is based on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Is a salaried, commissioned and bonused position
- Requires travel
