About the Role:
As a Project Superintendent at Rice Brothers, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing field operations and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management, construction site supervision, and a passion for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily on-site activities, managing subcontractors and trades, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain clear communication and drive project efficiency.
Your ability to lead crews, resolve on-site issues, and maintain quality control will be critical to the success of each project. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with opportunities for career advancement in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
✅ Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and labor to maintain project schedules and meet deadlines.
✅ Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on goals, progress, and potential challenges.
✅ Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.
✅ Proactively identify and resolve issues or delays that may impact project delivery.
✅ Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and logs of project activities.
✅ Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability on job sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role in commercial or industrial construction. 5 years of experience.
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprints, and building codes.
· Demonstrated ability to lead field crews and manage subcontractors effectively.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
· Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
· Proficient in project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Self-driven, dependable, and committed to delivering top-tier results.
· Willingness to travel to job sites and work in various conditions as needed.
