Performs community health education and community engagement related to local substance use prevention grants, serving in a grant coordinator role.
Identifies, promotes and improves the health of the public by providing a variety of health promotion and education activities in community settings. Serves a culturally diverse population.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's Degree in Community Health, Health Education or a health-related field and one to three years of public health education, or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Previous work experience in Public Health. Previous work experience related to substance use prevention. Bilingual : (English / Spanish and / or English / Somali).
Supplemental Information
HOURS : 32 - 40 hours per week (.8 FTE - 1.0 FTE). Typical work hours between approximately 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m., 4-5 days per week, Monday - Friday. Occasional weekend or evening hours.
