Job Summary
As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for picking up animal specimens from various veterinarian clinics and hospitals along your designated route. This role requires driving your own vehicle and ensuring timely and accurate pickups/drop offs. Route will take approximately 5 hours to complete, 8pm-1am. Starting in Shelbyville, IN and ending in Brownsburg, IN. Monday-Thursday. Saturdays when needed.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicle along assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Follow pickup/drop off schedules and adapt to route changes as needed
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time
Experience
- Prior experience in route driving or delivery driver roles is required
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Customer service skills to interact with clients during pick ups
Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable vehicle
- 21 or older
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
