Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Case Management: Design and oversee strategies to maximize settlements and mitigate risks.
- Leadership and Coaching: Mentor a team of five legal assistants, offering guidance on client communication, case management, and personal development.
- Quality Assurance: Review and ensure the accuracy of case files, documentation, and compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Negotiation Expertise: Negotiate with insurance adjusters to achieve favorable settlements and provide quick, decisive responses to offers.
- Workflow Optimization: Partner with our Director of Legal Services to streamline case management processes and reduce time on desk.
- Client Advocacy: Educate and support clients throughout their case journey, setting clear expectations and maintaining open communication.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the litigation team to ensure a smooth handoff when necessary.
Your Background:
- Must be a licensed attorney in Louisiana or a claim adjuster with management experience with minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury law with a focus on pre-litigation.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a talent for coaching and inspiring a team.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a commitment to achieving justice for clients.
- Experience with case management software and a meticulous approach to documentation and compliance.
- A client-first mindset, with the ability to balance empathy with strategic decision-making.
