What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Order Packer 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM position at Rice Lake Weighing Syst?
For over 75 years Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a successful, growth-oriented company known as a leader in the weighing industry and our community. We are currently seeking a Sales Order Packer to join our skilled and fast-paced Shipping team.
The Sales Order Packer will pick orders according to a paper pick list. The Sales Order Packer also packs those sales orders according to packaging procedures, in a timely and orderly fashion. Must work as part of a team to ensure that all orders are shipped on time. Ensures that all types and quantity of products ordered are correctly picked and entered into computerized shipping system. Operates personal lift equipment when needed. Other functions as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Some Shipping or Receiving experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Good reading skills
- Good number recognition skills
- Good basic math skills
- Some typing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and speak English Language
- Ability to work 10am-6:30 PM
Certificates, licenses, training, or other job-related requirements
- This applicant must have the current ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
