Located in scenic northwestern Wisconsin just 90 miles from Minneapolis, RLWS offers big city careers in a small-town atmosphere. We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team.
Job Responsibilities include:
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for the operation and administration of the Company’s internal and external networks, servers, email and network security systems.Plan, design, analyze and provide technical support for data communications network.Conduct research and evaluation of network technology and recommend purchases of network equipment.
Qualifications/Prerequisites
Education and Experience
Associate Degree in Information Systems or related field, or three (3) years or more equivalent MIS experience.
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems preferred.
Skills And Abilities
Strong working knowledge of major networking components, networking operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills and
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to work well both alone and in a team setting.
Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software.
Good personal and mainframe computer skills including Microsoft Office skills.
Good working knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows 2003/2008 Server, Exchange, Active Directory
Certificates, Licenses, Training, Or Other Job-related Requirements
Preferred Certificates: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MSCA); Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
