We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures, including foundations, slabs, and walls.
- Ensure quality control measures are adhered to during all phases of concrete work.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to concrete placement and finishing.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other laborers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Follow project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera or Prolog.
- Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Support budgeting and construction estimating efforts by providing accurate labor input.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete labor or related construction roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control processes in concrete work.
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools, including Primavera and Prolog.
- Strong understanding of construction management software for effective project tracking.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead small teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with concrete work.
