Project Manager
Location: CO, MN, The Dakotas Department: Operations FLSA Status: Exempt
Primary Function: The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing all phases of a project from the hand off from estimating to completion ensuring the client's requirements are met and that jobs are completed ahead of schedule, within budget, and in compliance with Company safety, quality, and procedural standards.
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Equivalent - or - Combination of technical training and experience - OSHA 30 training required.
Practical Knowledge: Construction Means & Methods, Project Control Systems, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing and Verbal Communication Skills, Leadership.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years experience managing highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects for a general contractor.
Computer Skills Applied: Microsoft Office Products, Cloud Based Applications, Construction Management Software or Takeoff Solutions Software, AutoCAD, PDF Based Work Flow Solution, Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Reporting Tools, Scheduling Software.
