**Job Title:** Farm Operations Manager
**Job Summary:** Rice Research & Ext. Ctr is seeking a highly skilled Farm Operations Manager to lead our crop production efforts.
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement and manage all station field and plot level crop production, including tillage operations, planting, fertilization, pest management, irrigation management, farm records, and harvesting.
- Work with the maintenance coordinator and personnel from the Foundation Seed Program to maintain and manage pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, moisture meters, flood-depth meters, etc.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of B.S. degree in agriculture, crop and soil science, agronomy, or related field; plus three years of related experience in farm management operations OR an M.S. degree in one of the fields listed above.
- Candidates must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
