Description of Project
The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is seeking a vendor to assist in designing, configuring, and implementing Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
The vendor will implement IDMC services to replace the agency's business data catalog. This includes, but are not limited to, Application Programming Interface (API) and Application integration, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), and any other related services. The State has a current subscription to the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) platform for data integration ETLs.
A combination of technical and project leadership is desired to sufficiently transition business and MNIT staff to growing and maintaining the use of the IDMC and CDGC services.
Vendor Responsibilities
The selected vendor will perform assessment of current technical and business state and readiness, training, documentation, implementation, data migration and limited term post-production support sufficient to transition business and IT staff.
At a high level, the vendor will design and implement the infrastructure and integration of the on-prem servers to cloud servers, implement and configure several of Informatica services including : IDMC API & Application Integration, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog and Cloud Data Quality. Cloud Data Governance and Catalog would replace the existing legacy application Business Data Catalog and Cloud Data Quality would set up rules and data lineage for one data set and the process documented to repeat for additional selected data sets.
