Job Description :
- Please note the hours are part time at 20 per week but the selected candidate must be available Monday through Friday from 8 : 30am to 5pm EST to get the work done and some weeks it might might 2 full days or 3 mornings etc.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT : THE SOUTH CAROLINA TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM IS SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN ENHANCING EXISTING AND DEVELOPING NEW POWER BI REPORTS FOR THE ORGANIZATION. EXTENSIVE DISCOVERY SESSIONS WERE CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE THE SCOPE OF THE EFFORT AND THE DESIRED OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT. DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED IN A SEPARATE ATTACHMENT.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : PROVIDE DAYTODAY GUIDANCE TO THE INTERNAL DIVISIONS AND SIXTEEN TECHNICAL COLLEGES ON THE PROJECT STATED ABOVE AS WELL AS AUDITING AND DOCUMENTATION OF EVENTS AND PROCESSES.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE) : 1. FIVE OR MORE YEARS SUPERVISING EXPERIENCE. 2. FIVE OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH POWER BI SQL SERVER AND SHAREPOINT. 3. 2 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH DIRECT INTERACTION WITH EXTERNAL STAKE HOLDERS.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE) : 1. MOST BE PROFICIENT WITH SC POWER BI AND HOW IT INTEGRATES WITH SHAREPOINT 2. INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCTCS DATA STRUCTURE; 3. COMMUNICATION; 4. PLANNING WITH EMPHASIS ON MEETING THE ESTABLISH TIMELINE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION : BACHELORS DEGREE AND TWO (2) YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD.
