Job Description
This positions will be responsible for Bulk Loading at the Rivland facility and for relieving the Tote Bagger on any shift.
Job Duties
- Setup all scales including but not limited to bulk and totes, in order to run orders given by supervisor
- Inspect all incoming bulk pneumatic trailers and rail cars using guidelines set forth by the Carrier Inspection Management Directive
- Able to read and write legibly due to filling out legal documentation for Riceland Foods
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide properly
- Be Riceland certified on forklift
- Be able to understand and run computer programs for start/run product process and enter information into ERP database
- Must understand and perform all HARPC checks throughout the process and complete on timely manner
- Must be able to work at heights up to 60 feet off of the ground safely
- Must be able to lift heavy weights up to 100 lbs. on ground level and at heights safely
- Able to lift and twist with and without safety harness
- Must properly use safety equipment at all times
- Complete load reports by verifying correct product, quality and bag size
- Able to climb stairs and ladders including but not limited to hoppers, bulk trucks and cleaning/bulk towers
- Inform supervisor of any product discrepancies, shortages and needs
- Notify office personnel of any changes to load reports
- Be able to communicate professionally between all employees and other departments
- Be able to stage finish product on the warehouse floor properly
- Maintain first in first out inventory on all Rivland products
- Inspect, receive and properly store all incoming packaging supplies
- Be able to keep work areas properly clean and all equipment properly stored
- Able to work overtime as needed to complete task or fill orders. Weekends may be needed at times
- Must complete training checklist by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Education Requirements
Basic Requirements-
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Requirements-
1-6 months experience
