Job Description
Riceland Foods is hiring a Treasury Coordinator. The Treasury Coordinator is responsible for administering all cash management information and monthly reporting of various inventory and financial information.
Job Duties
1. Maintain and implement various banking data and security systems and the
related banking requirements.
2. Monitor transactions daily for security due to the increase in potential fraud.
3. Process all electronic banking transactions for wire transfers, and patron,
brokerage, commissions and truck pay direct deposit.
4. Communicate loan payments, daily cash requirements, loan transfers, and
interest payments to all banking institutions for Riceland accounts.
5. Administer all cash management functions and record keeping of related
transactions.
6. Keep record of all SOFR, Swing and Base Loans including preparing daily
wire transfers of all payments for Co-Bank loans.
7. Daily listing of total commodity loans from all sources.
8. Maintain the schedule of interest rates.
9. Download bank balances via the internet and balance to ledger daily.
10. Audit and balance soybean and wheat stock records for all locations.
11. Prepare weekly Chicago Board of Trade declaration of stocks of deliverable
rough rice.
12. Communicate any corrections to stock records to the drier bookkeepers.
13. Record soybean and wheat storage income and executive and office charges
to all locations.
14. Back up preparations of the weekly milled figures for RMA report.
15. ERP monthly reason code distribution to all companies.
16. Reconcile freight cost for Rivland monthly.
17. Prepare 1138 account cross charge balances for all companies monthly.
18. Record distribution of Rito intercompany charges monthly.
19. Prepare and submit USDA Grain and Rice Reports quarterly.
20. Prepare CFTC Statement of Cash Position - Form 204, if required.
21. Distribute Rito Purchased Oil monthly.
22. Compile and balance monthly booking penalties for all commodities.
23. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
24. Rito Repair Orders and Capital workorders.
Preferred Requirements
- Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school and/or 2 years related experience and/or training.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
