Job Description
Riceland Foods is looking for an Office Clerk V. The main function of this position is to process orders and prepare necessary paperwork for all shipments
Job Duties
- Able to process all paperwork for railcar and truck shipments.
- Able to send customer paperwork on shipped orders.
- Able to process government certificates.
- Able to type export documents when needed.
- Able to process Co-Products orders.
- Able to answer telephones and schedule appointments for rice and flour docks.
- Able to generate Bi Launch Pad reports.
- Able to relieve other clerks in their absence.
- Able to back up Production Control Scheduler.
- Able to communicate with Union Pacific and BNSF railroad.
- Able to order hopper cars and boxcars.
- Able to prepare USDA grade applications.
- Able to make requisitions.
- Able to input cost into FGIS monthly and weekly spreadsheet.
- Able to figure RMA reprocessing cost and enter ERP.
- Able to communicate with carrier to have yard driver’s lined up.
- Able to process yard driver’s time.
- Able to communicate with the sales and shipping department.
- Able to perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience preferred but not required.
