Key Responsibilities:
- Input data from various sources (e.g., handwritten forms, electronic documents, emails) into the company’s databases or software systems.
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entering into systems.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive information, in accordance with company policies and privacy regulations.
- Perform routine data backups and maintain proper record-keeping procedures.
- Correct errors in data and ensure that necessary updates are made promptly.
- Generate reports from data, and assist in data analysis when required.
- Maintain organized files and records for easy retrieval.
- Assist with database management and update existing records regularly.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to data entry, providing assistance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company data entry standards and protocols.
- Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Data Entry Operator, or similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data input.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MS Access, SQL).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific software tools (e.g., , Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software or data scanning tools.
