Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system layouts.
- Supervise maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of parts.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Proficiency in welding is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
- Experience working with logic controllers is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
