Butcher and the Rye is slated to re-open this summer, and we are looking for a talented chef to lead our BOH team. Butcher features a creative, contemporary menu with new takes on rustic American dishes, along with an extensive whiskey collection.
The ideal candidate is a committed leader who is highly organized and hard-working. They have a proven track record of improving kitchen operations and developing staff members. They will typically be leading service five nights per week, developing a strong BOH team, and overseeing fiancials and cost of goods.
Experience And Qualifications

Experience And Qualifications
- 3 years in a leadership position of a high volume kitchen
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding of P&L statements, and ability to budget for BOH purchases and labor
- Ability to identify and develop talent within the team
- Passion for excellence and superior service standards
- A positive attitude with a teamplayer attitude
- Must be able to bend, stand, and move for entire shift
